Theft Incidents in Parking Areas

Last week, a man received a sentence of over nine years in prison for committing multiple robberies in the parking lots of casinos in California.

On the previous Wednesday, Sirron Croskey admitted guilt to one charge each of reckless evasion and possessing a loaded unregistered firearm in public, along with two charges of second-degree robbery. He also acknowledged two enhancements for personal firearm use, as stated by California Attorney General Rob Bonta.

A Contra Costa Superior Court judge instructed Croskey to pay a total of $9,855 in restitution to seven victims due to the robberies that occurred in the San Francisco Bay area. The events took place at casinos in Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, and Napa counties.

During the latest theft in Napa County, Croskey reportedly escaped from deputies while being pursued at high speed. He eventually leaped from the car and fled from the deputies until he was captured.

The identical gun was utilized in all of the robberies.

“Californians deserve to live their lives free from the shadow of violence,” Bonta said in Friday’s statement. “I am immensely proud of my team for their unwavering commitment to justice and for ensuring that those who violate the law are held responsible. When we work together, we get results that create a safer and more secure California for everyone.”
